Fully electric, the Dual Control Aga cooker is part of the new generation Control Series. Offering the best of both worlds, the Dual Control Aga cooker has the traditional cast-iron ovens which are always available for use, with independently controlled hotplates which can be turned on and off as required.

The Dual Control Aga cooker acts in a similar way to the traditional Aga cooker utilising one core heat source for the ovens, however it provides more versatility as the hotplates can be independently controlled as and when you need them.

As the ovens take approximately 8/9 hours to come up to temperature from cold, this cooker is designed to be left ON continuously meaning that not only is it always ready to cook on, but also gives out constant radiant heat into the kitchen.

The Dual Control model is a new generation Aga cooker, designed to provide a cosy feel and readily available cooking facility. The Dual Control Aga cooker is the predecessor of the R7 model, boasting many of the same features and functionalities. The Dual Control Aga cooker is a genuine Aga cooker and has not been modified from any other fuel type.

The Dual Control Aga cooker is a 24/7 radiant heat model, providing gentle heat into your home. Designed to be left constantly on, the 3 ovens boast roasting, baking and simmering functions.
As the name suggests the Dual Control Aga cooker has two controls. One dial for the ovens, which are normally on all the time (as with a traditional Aga cooker). The other dial controls the hotplates which are normally off until being turned on when you need them.

Oven temperature settings:
• FULL – this is the ambient temperature mode for optimum temperatures in each of the ovens and maximum heat output into the room
• ECO – this reduces the overall temperature of the cooker by about one third – reducing heat output and energy consumption.
• OFF

The 3 main ovens come up and down in temperature as one unit.

The Dual Control Aga cooker has been designed to be simple to use and offers flexibility.

This very young Aga cooker is in immaculate condition and has been meticulously reconditioned bringing it back to showroom condition.

The electric module acts as a separate bolt on unit. It is in essence an ordinary cooker in its own right, and is paired alongside a main parent Aga cooker. It allows you more versatility to suit your lifestyle all-year-around. In warmer months you might want to turn the main parent cooker off to reduce ambient heat and/or running costs and unlike the traditional cast iron ovens which can take a while to heat up, the integrated module has stainless steel ovens. This means the heat up time is almost instantaneous.

The 3 oven Dual Control Aga cookers require a 32 amp fused spur supply. Separately from any supplies needed for the main parent cooker, the module would also need a 32 amp fused spur.

You do not need to budget extra for a plinth to bring it up to standard worktop height (900mm) as it includes an integrated plinth.

Please be aware that the delivery team will need to manipulate a footprint of 1005mm x 740mm through the grounds and property. The cooker’s largest turning point through 90 degrees is 1.5 metres including the moving equipment at either end.
